About Purple Roots Ranch

Purple Roots Ranch was born from a simple realization: city life couldn’t nourish our passions for nature, animals, and wholesome living. Leaving the Denver area behind, we traded the suburbs for 65 acres of countryside to build a life centered on kindness, sustainability, and quality.Today, our ranch is a beautifully chaotic home to a growing family of dairy cows, pigs, yaks, goats, donkeys, horses, chickens, rabbits, dogs, and cats. While every animal adds to the spirit of the ranch, our dairy cows are the heart of everything we do. Our days—and our ranch's livelihood—revolve around their care, ensuring they produce the high-quality raw milk that serves as the foundation for our community’s wellness.

Meet the Family

  • Harry: An automation design engineer in alternative energy, Harry applies his technical expertise to ranch life. He pivoted from an interest in brewing to crafting healthy, small-batch vinegars—a transition that sparked his curiosity for natural cosmetics and extracts. Whether he’s building custom equipment or out on the trail with his dog and best friend, Milo, Harry is driven by sustainable DIY and mindful living.

  • Kerrie: Kerrie runs the daily operations of the ranch with a primary focus on our raw milk dairy. Her journey into natural wellness began years ago as a single mother; driven by a fierce need for clean, healthy products she could trust for her daughter, she began crafting her own remedies—starting with her signature elderberry syrup. Today, she brings that same determination and heart to every animal and product on the ranch.

  • Vivi: Vivi’s world revolves around her horses and her drill team. Along with Kerrie, she spends her days building deep bonds with our animals and ensuring every creature—from the largest yak to the smallest rabbit—is loved and cared for.
